World Record of the Largest Typewritten Portrait of India's Beloved Singer "LATA MANGESHKAR"
I have been a very successful Typewriter Artist. I draw portraits of celebrities on manual typewriter. I make use of all the keys on manual typewriter to draw the portraits. It requires lot of patience, perserversnce, determination and dedication .
I have made a World Record of the largest Typewritten Portrait (21.4 ft. x 13.3 ft. - 364 sheets of A4 size paper and it took me about 268 hours) of "Lata Mangeshkar". This was declared at Moscow, Russia in 1998.
I was interviewed by the Associated Press Television, USA, for a programme entitled "Extraordinary People", which was telecast all over the world and in India on ZEE English two-three years back.
Entries of the world record are in the "Book of Alternative Records" published in London, "India Book of Records -2010" published in Delhi, India and "Believe Unbelievable" published in Washington DC, USA.
I am a member of the Saxonia World Record Holders' Club in Germany.
I have presented typewritten portraits to Indian Celebrities like Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Gavaskar, Lata Mangeshkar and also to His Holiness The Dalai Lama.
Having a number of publications of my typewritten portraits of various celebrities in the Indian newspapers as well as in The Moscow Times, Moscow, Russia. and mention of the World Record in various websites in different languages all over the world.
