WILDALERT NEWS: Arctic drilling update
The Wilderness Society
Congress is back at its old antics trying to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling. Meanwhile, the administration is moving forward with Shell oil leases in the Arctic Ocean and planning to include other sensitive Arctic waters in the nation’s offshore oil drilling plan.
Wilderness supporters have been great friends to the Arctic this month by pushing back with letters and phone calls to decision makers, as well as sharing news and alerts on social media.
But the fight isn’t over, so please continue the great work.

Help stop attacks on the Arctic
The Arctic National Wildlife refuge is a crown jewel of American wild lands - however some in Congress are so focused on drilling every last inch of our wild lands and waters that they’d turn the most pristine landscape in America into an oil field. You can help us stop these attacks on the Arctic Refuge with an urgent donation to The Wilderness Society today.
