HAM LAKE, Minn. - A Domino's driver is changing one man's life and inspiring an entire community to act after a discovery she made while delivering pizzas.

Angela Nguyen delivers pizzas to people from every walk of life, but when she rolled up to a tiny camper on the outskirts of Anoka County in Minnesota, she found one customer she wouldn't forget.

Inside the 12-foot-long camper was Lee Haase. The 76-year-old was living alone in extreme poverty after he was hit with a terrible set of circumstances. First, his home was severely damaged in a storm, then his son died in a snowmobile accident.

"Lee has told me that he's pretty much given up on life," said Nguyen.

Nguyen found Haase living without heat, plumbing or running water.

"When I first delivered to him, it was summertime, so I wasn't quite as concerned," said Nguyen.

Then, last weekend, another driver discovered Haase shivering on a chilly fall day with no plans for what to do once winter hits.

"I'm not sure yet," said Haase. "I've got to do something."

That's when Nguyen decided to do something about it.

"Living in this trailer with no heat, no sanitation whatsoever--he has no toilet--no water, nothing, is not acceptable to me," said Nguyen.

She bought him a heater Saturday and started a Go Fund Me page. Total strangers to Haase quickly donated food and money.

"It's hard to explain [how I feel]," said Haase. "Just pretty awesome."

Now his biggest need may be on the way. A construction company contacted Nguyen Tuesday morning about building Haase a small house just in time for winter.
