Heartwarming Scene of a Duck Keeping a Puppy Warm After Being Abandoned on the Street
In another instance of kindness between species, one adult duck showed empathy to a puppy who had been abandoned by its mother soon after birth. The puppy was shivering with the cold weather.
Duck and dog together, forever. This unusual situation of friendship between the bird and canine population is not as strange as first might seem.
The duck gently folded her wings around this baby and moved the puppy closer so he could benefit from her body warmth. Eventually, the puppy stopped shivering and went to sleep, protected by the duck.
We are happy to report that shortly after these photos were uploaded to Facebook, the puppy and the duck were adopted together and now have formed a lasting friendship in a home environment. Now they are inseparable.
Animals can be amazing. This isn’t the first canine-fowl friendship and certainly not the last. In the video below you can see how another dog and a duck have become very best friends.
