These 6 Countries are Being Added to the Travel ban List

President Trump is putting more countries on the travel ban list in lieu of recent security concerns involving these countries. The 6 new countries that will have restricted access to the United States Immigration system will join 7 other currently on the list, the 7 countries on the list are; Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen. Here are the 6 new countries that will be put on the travel ban list:

1.) Burma

Burma is a small country located in southeast Asia right next to Thailand. The country was added to the Travel ban list due to the ongoing civil war in the region. The country also has very poor vetting standards and a terrorist could easily travel to Burma and then move to the United States using Burma as a relay.

2.) Eritrea

Eritrea is a country located on Africa’s Red Coast. It is currently on the travel ban list due to it not sharing all the information it needs to with the United States. The country is run by a one-man dictatorship and has been flagged for multiple human rights violations.

Nigeria is a country on the western coast of Africa, it is currently involved in a conflict with the radical Islamic terror group known as Boko Haram. Although they are making progress in the battle against the evil organization they are unable to ensure that a member of Boko Haram can’t get into the US.
