Brain-numbed Nancy Pelosi spreads vicious lies about tax cuts, claims people taking home larger paychecks is a “scam”

When Democrats aren’t voting to take more money from Americans so they can redistribute it to key voting blocs, they are thinking about it.
That’s why they are doing all they can to discredit the tax cut and reform plan recently passed by President Donald J. Trump and Republicans, and they’re getting plenty of help from their old friends and allies in the “mainstream” media.
Prior to, and immediately after, the GOP plan was passed, Democrats and the media were doing their level best to lie about the reform measure and misrepresent who would benefit most.
“On the eve of the tax cut bill, few Americans actually want it,” the Washington Post reported in an “analysis” piece Nov. 1.
“CBS News poll: Americans say tax plan helps wealthy, not middle class,” CBS News shamelessly reported.
“Poll: Most Americans doubt GOP bill will cut their taxes or boost the economy,” USA Today definitively declared.
“A Middle-Class Tax Cut? Americans Aren’t Buying It,” railed The New York Times.
That was then. And, of course, we were being told this by the same pollsters who were just sure that Hillary Clinton would be in the Oval Office today as president.
But the lies continue, and Democrats, like that perennial fibber (and multimillionaire one percenter) House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, are leading the charge.
On Wednesday morning after Trump touted the benefits tens of millions of Americans of all wage groups were already reaping from the tax cuts during his State of the Union Address, there was Pelosi, lying her face off in front of the news cameras, claiming: “The president presents himself with this GOP tax scam as something that helps the middle class. He, um, kinda presented that. Um. At the same time the tax scam, um, will mean, um, cause for 86 million middle-class families to pay more as he pads the pockets of the top one percent.” (Related: Former HILLARY senior advisor FRETS Millennials will vote for GOP after tax cut leaves THEM with more of their own money)
Watch:
That is an out-and-out lie. There’s just no other way to say it. But that’s all socialist Democrats have got: The big lie when it comes to this subject.
As the Heritage Foundation’s Tommy Binion points out, the average American family will get a tax break of nearly $1,200 per year.
Binion also cites a study of the GOP tax law by the Tax Foundation, writing:
Incomes ranged from $30,000 to $2 million. The single man with no kids earning $30,000 a year will get a $379 tax cut. The couple with two kids earning $85,000 a year will get a $1,554 tax cut. The tax cuts continue all the way up the income ladder for Americans in all types of situations — until they hit the couple earning $2 million a year. That couple, the only one analyzed that is not getting a tax cut, will pay an additional one percent.
Further, Heritage analyzed economic growth associated with the plan and concluded “the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would lead to an additional 2.6 percent of economic growth, and a $4,098 increase in GDP per household,” while the “Tax Foundation calculated that the bill would lead to 3.5 percent GDP growth.”
“As Rush Limbaugh has pointed out, Democrats have never accepted the fact that President Reagan’s tax cuts in 1984 and 1986 brought about 20 years of prosperity in America. The result is that the Democrats have rewritten history: Reagan’s tax policies were bad and Obama’s tax policies were good, they claim,” writes Dr. Lawrence J. Fedewa, Ph.D., for Fox News.
So why would Democrats and the establishment media lie about legislation that allows Americans and American businesses to keep more of their own money?
Because that’s what socialists do; they use the people as a giant piggy bank to ensure they remain in control and you remain reliant on them.
Pelosi and company claim as well that the Republican tax plan will be the GOP’s undoing this election year.
They’re lying about that, too — just to themselves.
