MAJOR TAKEAWAYS FROM THE IG'S REPORT INTO POSSIBLE FISA ABUSES
TTN
The FISA report has come out and the Inspector General has released scathing details of the abuse that has gone on within the deep state and the efforts the deep state took to derail President Trump.
Bad actors within bureaucratic organizations, a set of organizations known as the deep state, tried their best to get Hillary Clinton elected and after they failed they moved on to trying to get Trump’s presidency disqualified. Their actions are anything but democratic and their actions reveal the hatred they hold for the American people.
Here is what was revealed about the deep state:

Wow... page 341. IG says FBI used an Aug. 2016 'defensive briefing' with the Trump campaign as an "opportunity to gather potentially relevant investigative information” about Michael Flynn
They used defensive briefings for their investigation into the Trump campaign
Wow
7,232 people are talking about this
Predictably, some media allies of Democrats spinning hard. This is what the investigation was about, pg 361:
IG found "numerous serious factual errors and omissions in the FISA applications ... that undercut certain allegations in the applications."

The Inspector General found a significant amount of Inaccuracies and omissions in the initial surveillance warrants. This means that the FISA court judge was left in the dark when looking over the evidence the FBI provided.
This is an excellent example of how the deep state operates, they frame the story in a way beneficial to them while cropping out all the parts that don’t support the narrative.

Operation Crossfire Hurricane was the name of the operation to get the warrants that let the FBI spy on the Trump campaign. Many believe that the “insurance policy” referenced Lisa Page was Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the IG was unable to verify this so it will remain unproven.

The IG report hammers the FBI by revealing that they failed to comply with even the most basic rules, as Fox News reports:
The report made clear that FBI policy requires that "agents must ensure that all factual statements in FISA applications are 'scrupulously accurate,'" yet in the application process for the Page warrant, members of the investigative team "failed" to meet that standard, and committed "significant inaccuracies and omissions" in every application.
