Here is What Gold Star Families Truly Think of Biden

Gold Star Families are the families of service members who were killed in the line of duty. Tragically, 13 more families have become Gold Star families these past few weeks. Here is what some of those families think about our President after meeting him:

The Most Disrespectful Thing I’d Ever Seen

Gold Star Father Mark Schmitz was irate at the fact Biden kept checking the time on his watch while his son was being brought home during the Dignified Transfer ceremony. 

While being interviewed by Sean Hannity Schmitz said “I actually leaned into my son’s mother’s ear in I said I swear to god if he checks his watch one more time and was probably only four times in, I couldn’t look at him anymore after that.” He continued saying “Considering especially  the time and why we were there, I found it to be the most disrespectful thing I’d ever seen”

They Let Them Down, We Can’t Have That. It Can’t Happen Ever Again 

Darin Hoover lost his son, Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, in the bombing at the Kabul Airport and was witness to Biden’s disgraceful display at the Dignified Transfer ceremony. 

“In reference to the checking of his watch, that didn’t happen just once. That happened on every single one that came out of that airplane. It happened on every single one of them. They would release the salute, and he would look down at his watch on every last one – all 13 – he looked down at his watch.” Hoover told Sean Hannity during his interview. 

“As a father, you know, seeing that and the disrespect, and hearing from his former leaders, one of his master sergeants said exactly what you just said, that this was avoidable, that they left them over there. They let them down, we can’t have that. It can’t happen ever again.”

 

Talked More About His Son Than Mine

Gold Star Father Mark Schmitz told Sean Hannity about his meeting with Biden, according to Schmitz the meeting did not go well. Schmitz lost his son, Marine Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz, to a bombing in Afghanistan while Joe Biden’s son, Beau Biden, died as a result of brain cancer. 

The death of Beau Biden was untimely and tragic, but the death of Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz can not be compared to the death of Beau Biden. 

Schmitz had this to say about his meeting with the President. “Well, initially, I wasn’t going to meet with him, but then I felt I owed it to my son to at least have some words with him about how I felt and it didn’t go well. He talked a bit more about his own son than he did my son [and] that didn’t sit well with me.”

America Hates You

Shana Chappell, the mother of Marine Lance Corporal Kareem Nikoui, took to Facebook to express her views of the President and his actions which ultimately lead to the death of her son. Chappell was banned from Facebook for expressing her views on the President as left-wing trolls repeatedly reported her post.

Chappells Facebook post read: 

This msg is for you! I know my face is etched into your brain! I was able to look you straight in the eyes yesterday and have words with you. After I lay my son to rest you will be seeing me again!

Remember I am the one who stood 5 inches from your face and was letting you know I would never get to hug my son again, hear his laugh and then you tried to interrupt me and give me your own sob story and I had to tell you “that this isn’t about you so don’t make it about you!!!” You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how I feel and I let you know that you don’t know how I feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how I feel!

U then rolled your fu**ng eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and I let you know that the only reason I was talking to you was out of respect for my son and that was the only reason why, I then proceeded to tell you again how you took my son away from me and how i will never get to hug him, kiss him, laugh with him, etc, again … u turned to walk away and I let you know my sons blood was on your hands and you threw your hand up behind you as you walked away from me as if to saying “ok whatever”!!!

Chappell also said that if President Trump was still in office then these 13 men, including her son, would still be alive.

Didn’t Want Him Anywhere Near Us 

Gold Star Father Darin Hoover told Sean Hannity that when he was given the opportunity to meet with Biden “we said absolutely not.”

“We didn’t want to deal with him. We didn’t want him anywhere near us. We as a family decided that that was the way it was going to be.”

Considering the treatment Biden gave to other Gold Star families this was definitely the right call to make.
