The left and some anti-Trumpers are having a total meltdown at Trump's recent move to force Mexico to help with the crisis at the border through tariffs. They are taking to Twitter and other social media sites to complain about the price of guacamole since it is made from avocados it will get more expensive because of these tariffs. Border Patrolis reporting that several illegal African immigrants were apprehended from a region of Africa where Ebola has sprouted up. This disease is highly contagious and very deadly. This is a serious and a much bigger problem than expensive produce.

2.) Disabled People Drowning

A recent reportfrom the Border Patrol revealed just how horrific the scene at the border is. Border Patrol reported an incident where two disabled people were left to drown in the Rio Grande River. One person was a double amputee and the other was a paraplegic man. Border Patrol rescued the two men but this is a startling incident that could have ended much worse.

3.) Rampant Human Trafficking

The human trafficking at the border is ridiculous and disgusting. Many young women are taken captive and sold to be used as slaves throughout other parts of the world. Some children are taken and used again and again as props to make it look as if the group crossing the border was a family unit. This is depraved and needs to be stopped.

Gang violence is a common occurrence at the border and is leaking into our country’s big cities. MS-13 is the biggest of these gangs and they are involved in many illegal industries such as human trafficking, gun smuggling, and drug pedaling. The border is a big area for this gang and action is needed to curb their violence.

5.) Sexual Assault

Sexual assault and rape are common places at the southern border. Many young women who attempt to get to the United States are abused along the way, Doctors Without Bordersreports that roughly 1-in-3 women are sexually assaulted trying
to enter the United States. Some reports from years ago report even higher numbers.

America is in the midst of a massive drug crisis, the border is helping fuel this problem. In order to crush the opioid crisis, the drugs from the border need to be stopped. This is a much bigger issue than higher prices for guacamole.
