What the Left Just Doesn’t Get About The Southern Border

The southern border is at a crisis point and the left just doesn’t get it. Illegal immigrants are pouring into the country in droves and this has to stop.

America is losing money in the extra welfare it has to give out to these illegals and gang members are slipping in among the droves of economic migrants that are coming to the border.

Here is what the Democrats don’t understand:

1.) The Validity of Asylum Claims

Democrats often argue that those who are attempting to enter the country are applying for asylum and are simply refugees fleeing the dangers in their home country. 90% of these asylum claims are ultimately rejected for being unfounded, there is no credible claim to asylum from many of these Central American countries.

2.) Who’s Really Coming Across

The media would have you believe that it is migrants coming to America in search of a better life, they would have you that they are trying to flee persecution and violence in Central America. This isn’t the case, many who come to America are looking for work (economic opportunities) and this is why the asylum claims are not valid.

The other big hiccup with these migrants is that individuals with ill-intent slip right through, the open immigration that the Democrats push is irresponsible and furthers this problem. If we don’t know who is coming through the border than anyone can get through.

The media and the Democrats push the narrative that President Trump is exaggerating about the crisis at the border, but in reality, he often isn’t going far enough on the border. MS-13 is a Central American gang that would have been unheard of in the US long ago but now that these gangs have a free pass to get in so long as they don’t get caught by the Border Patrol they can come and go as they please. The truth is that the border is horribly understaffed and a wall would help solve this problem.

The crisis at the border will only get worse until a fully secured law can be built. The Democrats keep pushing policies that encourage illegal immigration, they also endorse sanctuary city policies. These sanctuary city policies result in more violence and serve as the target for many illegal immigrants who want to set up a new life in America.

5.) New Border Wall?

The media would have you believe that the wall is not currently going up but it is, in fact, going up as of October 2019. With funding from the Pentagon Trump was able to get many more miles of border wall constructed.

The Democrats have been arguing that the United States doesn’t need a border wall at all, this is plain wrong. If the United States were to construct a full border wall it would not only keep migrants out but its symbology alone would deter would-be illegal migrants from even trying to get to the United States.

6.) Fake News

The fake news that is going around about immigration in the United States is dirty and fools many in America into thinking that this is a matter of media optics and politics as opposed to the serious matter that it is.
