I feel it is important that I take a few minutes away from our Litigation Team's final weekend of court preparations to thank you from the bottom of my heart!

It is still sinking in that 76,593 of our on-line supporters signed our Amici Book (Book of Friends) and will be praying for the Liberty Counsel Litigation Team in these final hours of preparation...as well as during the hearing of our lawsuit against ObamaCare next Tuesday.

While observing the National Day of Prayer yesterday, from time to time I pondered just how powerful the prayers of this amazing number of Believers will actually be!

I know each of the patriotic men and women who signed our Amici Book want our nation to be delivered from the devastation of ObamaCare before it is too late.  Above all, I know God is hearing these prayers and that He will answer!

++Our pre-hearing activities are now quite intense.

Today, I have been reviewing many comparable cases and honing my understanding of the legal arguments I am likely to encounter.  I just finished a two-hour moot court hearing (one of many this week) before three seasoned constitutional scholars who questioned each element of my simulated oral argument.  I am giving every spare moment to careful review of the briefs we have submitted.

++The long-anticipated day is just ahead!

How important is our challenge to the constitutionality of ObamaCare next Tuesday? The panel of judges we will face at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals is just one level below the United States Supreme Court. As you may recall, two lower court judges have already declared ObamaCare to be unconstitutional, while certain liberal judges have sided with the so-called healthcare "reform" act. Our case will be a real game changer!

++We need God's favor in Richmond next week.

Arguing an ongoing court battle is a bit like a chess match against a player you have competed with in prior matches. You have a general idea of what their strategies will be, yet you realize that one wrong move could still cost you the match.

Having previously faced Eric Holder's extensive team of lawyers from the Department of Justice, I have a pretty good idea of their strategies and the way in which they will attempt to defend the indefensible ObamaCare law.

Yet, both sides are facing a panel of judges who may view our extensive briefs in a different light, who may react differently to a particular strategy or method of presentation we have used in earlier hearings. That is why I am now keenly focused on our final preparations. 

 I feel a profound sense of responsibility toward the tens of millions of Americans who are hoping that our case, being on the forefront of private-party lawsuits against ObamaCare, will ultimately bring about the demise of the outrageous socialist power grab that is at the heart of the President's healthcare law.

As I mentioned yesterday, I feel I must continue to ask for your help in two critical ways:

I am unreservedly asking that you pray for my entire team and me in the remaining days before we stand before the panel of federal judges to defend the liberties of all Americans against this outrageous law. 

I have been deeply humbled by the outpouring of support we have already received, but this cause is SO IMPORTANT that I dare not hesitate to ask for your best possible support.

Your prayers mean a great deal to me and our Liberty Counsel Litigation Team and they are also crucially important to all Americans who recognize this blatant socialist takeover of our medical industry for exactly what it is!
