Last Friday afternoon, an Illinois federal court issued an emergency restraining order protecting health care workers on a case in which Liberty Counsel Action has been providing critical research!

The federal court restraining order blocked the NorthShore University HealthSystem from terminating the 14 health care workers who are the lead plaintiffs in the case. The case returns to court November 16 to extend the restraining order and to include the entire class of health care workers.

We are fighting for every health care worker like the one who wrote to request, “Allow me to join” this lawsuit.

We are fighting for nurses, doctors and others who were unlawfully discriminated against and denied religious exemptions from the COVID shot. The court said the plaintiffs are likely to prevail based on both the federal employment law, Title VII and the Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act!

NorthShore had already started purging employees with sincere religious objections to its “Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.” It removed many of those employees from the November work schedule, including those whose appeals were still pending!

NorthShore previously granted exemptions for some employees but then revoked all of them in mid-September. It revoked every single exemption even for employees working from home! Some were revoked without explanation, while NorthShore claimed the (already granted) requests failed to meet the so-called “evidence-based criteria” that NorthShore never provided the employees in advance.

NorthShore then gave employees only three business days to file an appeal without stating what was missing in their original applications.

In that appeal, NorthShore then contested the employees’ religious beliefs by requiring them to include their entire vaccination history since age 18. This is illegal.

Illinois law dictates that employees at NorthShore University HealthSystem have the fundamental right to determine which medical care or vaccine to accept and which to refuse. In fact, Illinois has a Health Care Right of Conscience Act that provides strong protection to all residents against discrimination based on health care choices. It states: “It shall be unlawful for any person, public or private institution, or public official to discriminate against any person in any manner, including but not limited to, licensing, hiring, promotion, or any other privileges, because of such person's conscientious refusal to receive, obtain, accept or participate in any way in any particular form of health care services contrary to his or her conscience.”

Despite the law, another person reached out and said, “I am being forced to take the COVID-19 vaccine or pay a monthly fee in order to keep my job.”

Help us give hope to these faithful workers, many of whom have lost hope. Help us STOP THE MANDATES!

NorthShore didn’t stop there. In addition to revoking every exemption, it also changed its exemption form. Now it includes a warning that all religious objections based on “aborted fetal cell lines, stem cells, tissue or derivative materials will result in denials.”

It falsely states on its form that COVID-19 jabs have no link to aborted fetal cell lines and denies the religious beliefs of health care workers who object to the undeniable connection of the injections that were developed and/or tested on aborted fetal cell lines. NorthShore is lying to its own employees!

A whistleblower from Pfizer provided internal emails from executives who confirmed that not only was the Pfizer shot developed by testing using aborted baby cell lines named HEK293T, but senior management is fighting to hide this information.

Pfizer’s chief scientific officer, Dr. Philip Dormitzer, admits “HEK293T cells, used for the IVE assay, are ultimately derived from an aborted fetus.” However, he pushed Pfizer’s polished narrative to omit all mention of aborted fetal tissue to avoid pushback, and Pfizer even doubled down that the public should not be informed about fetal tissue.

Pfizer’s senior director of worldwide research, Vanessa Gelman, wrote: “We want to avoid having the information on fetal cells floating out there... The risk of communicating this right now outweighs any potential benefit we could see, particularly with general members of the public who may take this information and use it in ways we may not want out there. ... We have been trying as much as possible to not mention the fetal cell lines.”

Another truth those people are desperately trying to avoid is the adverse reactions to these jabs. Now they have risen to 837,593 people harmed by these shots. And Jessica Rose, who has a Ph.D. in Computational Biology, puts the number of deaths from these shots at “an estimate of over 150,000 excess deaths caused by the vaccine.”

NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO GET THE SHOTS. We must Stop the Mandates. Your involvement is what makes it possible to win this battle for freedom. Help us help the tens of thousands of people that desperately need our help!

Our nation is repeating a dark history by demonizing those who have not received the experimental shots and then trying to punish them. We must not be silent on our watch.
