Yesterday morning, protestors descended on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's home screaming at his residence with multiple megaphones and countless noise makers hoping they could intimidate the senator to abandon his constitutional responsibility to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat.

Radicals already have hijacked several traditionally bi-partisan actions to grind to a halt nearly all of the activities of the U.S. Senate. I'll share these below, along with how the very volatile environment on Capitol Hill has gotten close to our office. But first, I urge you to act so that our leaders hear from you.

This week, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) threatened to block all hearings.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) shot back, "Senators who appear on steps of the Supreme Court and personally threaten associate justices if they rule a certain way are ill-equipped to give lectures on civics." This refers to Sen. Schumer's past threats against Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Gorsuch while standing on the steps of the Supreme Court.

Immediately, radicals under Sen. Schumer started to manipulate little known procedures to disrupt the Senate's committee hearings. Their actions limit committee hearings to just the mornings. This is a blatant effort to slow the Senate and reduce the amount of business it can address.

And radicals are just getting started.

If Senator Schumer wants to block all hearings, then the Senate should confirm the nominee without a hearing. There is no constitutional requirement for a hearing, and the nominees under consideration have already gone through the Senate hearing process.

Keep in mind, all of this is happening before a nominee is even announced.

Iranian-American Reza Aslan spoke more plainly. "If they even TRY to replace RBG we burn the entire f***ing thing down." This former host of CNN continued "Over our dead bodies. Literally."

Another Twitter user pictured President Trump and Sen. McConnell and said, "Not a threat, but if they do [appoint a Justice], they all should consider living the rest of their lives in armor protected cars and homes. Forget going out to dinner or anything else, plan on living in a bunker the rest of your days."

While Justice Kavanaugh got us closer to overturning Roe v. Wade, this nominee to the Supreme Court is the one that could make it happen. Abortion advocates understand this. We must not underestimate their hatred and obsession with the shedding of the blood of helpless children. Send your fax today to make your voice heard now.

Legislators and even our own staff are facing increased threats and attacks.

Yesterday, Capitol Police responded to a bomb threat in the vicinity of our Ministry Center. While we are very grateful that nothing happened, this illustrates the intensity of the events unfolding in D.C. this week.
