This Is The Reason Why The Russian Ambassador Was Visiting Obama So Often
The Russian Ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, has appeared in the White House visitor logs many times while Obama was still president.
The logs that Obama revealed to the public in 2009 when forced to be transparent, reveal that the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. has been to the White House over 22 times from 2009 and 20166.
Kislyak’s name appeared in the logs as early as September 2016 when he met with one of Obama’s senior aides, John Holdren, in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. The remaining visitors who appear in the logs at the meeting are Marina W. Gross, Alexander Ermolaev, Alexey Lopatin, Vyacheslav Balakirev and Sergey Sarazhinskiy. Even though the meeting was supposed to start at 12:00 pm, it does not mention when it was supposed to end.
Sergey’s name also appeared on the logs from July 2016, March 2016, January 2016, August 2015, April 2014, February 2014, May 2013, , February 2013, November 2012, December 2011, July 2011, December 2010, October 2010, May 2010, April 2010, February 2010, March 2010, December 2009 and September 2009.
The visitor logs also mention which White House staffers met with Kislyak every time he was visiting. Some of the hosts include: Gary Samore, the senior National Security Council operative on WMD(weapons of mass destruction) during Barack Obama’s first tenure (four visits); Robert Malley, Obama’s former senior aide on fighting ISIS (three visits); Lawrence Summers, Barack’s former economic counselor (one visit); Michael Froman, Obama’s trade representative; Holdren (two visits); and the visitor’s office (four visits).
The Russian Ambassador was also listed 12 more times in the logs, but that was when there were around 180 and 3,000 additional visitors listed, such as for an event like a “holiday open house” or the “diplomatic corps reception.”
