Flashback! Biden bitten by … Biden
WND
ust as Joe Biden indicates he’s about to announce a 2020 bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, he’s being bitten by … himself.
CNN and the Washington Post unearthed videos of him when he was against integration, denouncing it as racist, and had no sympathy for criminals.
The comments were highlighted by a blogger for the Twitter news-aggregating site Twitchy, who said the statements “could SINK his 2020 chances.”
Biden’s strategist recently told the New York Times the former vice president, known for his verbal gaffes, was 95 percent likely to run.
But then there was this:
“Who the hell do we think we are, that the only way a black man or woman can learn is if they rub shoulders with my white child?” said @JoeBiden in an interview from the mid-1970s, via @mviser https://t.co/j3FDou80n4

The Post found a comment from an interview in the mid-1970s: “Who the hell do we think we are, that the only way a black man or woman can learn is if they rub shoulders with my white child?”
Twitchy said such comments are “soon-to-be campaign killers.”
On another occasion he said: “We’ve lost our bearings since the 1954 Brown vs. School Board desegregation case. To ‘desegregate’ is different than to ‘integrate.’ I am philosophically opposed to quota systems. They insure mediocrity.”
And, arguing against busing:
Joe Biden, arguing against busing in 1975: “What it says is, ‘In order for your child with curly black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin to be able to learn anything, he needs to sit next to my blond-haired, blue-eyed son.’ That’s racist!” https://t.co/lAb2xDcyhc

“What it says is, ‘In order for your child with curly black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin to be able to learn anything, he needs to sit next to my blond-haired, blue-eyed son.’ That’s racist!”
Biden also weighed in on reparations.
“I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather. I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation. And I’ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago.”
On crime: “I don’t care why someone is a malefactor in society, I don’t care why someone is anti-social, I don’t care why they became a sociopath.”
Highly recommend watching the video to witness Biden’s fervor and zeal for the crime bill; text alone doesn’t do it justice.
