Democrats still stew with rage over the Senate confirming Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

But that didn’t mean the left stopped plotting Kavanaugh’s destruction.

And Democrats just found this smoking gun that could end Brett Kavanaugh’s career.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler’s impeachment crusade is not the only front in his war against President Trump.

Before last year’s midterm election Nadler promised to continue investigating Brett Kavanaugh in response to liberal voters’ calls to impeach the newly minted Supreme Court Justice.

Democrats and their handmaidens in the fake media promoted baseless conspiracy theories that Kavanaugh lied under oath about his teenage drinking and his time working in the Bush administration.

Nadler never forgot his promise to the party base.

And the House Judiciary Committee Chairman made good on his word by firing off a letter to the National Archives claiming the Committee needed access to emails and documents from Kavanaugh’s time in the Bush administration.

“In the coming year, the Supreme Court will again address important matters regarding civil rights, criminal justice, and immigration. The Court may also review certain high-profile cases related to reproductive rights, the separation of powers, and the limits of executive authority — all topics within the jurisdiction of the House Judiciary Committee,” Nadler wrote.

“In light of these and other legislative and oversight responsibilities, we write to request that the National Archives complete its review of certain presidential records related to Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh’s service in the White House from 2001 to 2006 and provide these records to the Committee, as provided for in 44 U.S.C. § 2205(2)(C),” Nadler concluded.

Nadler claimed that the Judiciary Committee would take up legislation creating a code of conduct and ethics for Supreme Court Justices so they needed to examine Kavanaugh’s work on issues that could come before the court.

There were three purposes to this request.

First, Democrats fear that Kavanaugh’s confirmation cemented a five to four conservative majority on the court and that landmark liberal precedents such as Roe v. Wade would be gutted or overturned.

Democrats want to craft legislation to force Kavanaugh and other conservative justices to recuse themselves from key cases so they could arrive at a four to four deadlock or the liberals could prevail in a four to three decision after multiple conservative justices recused themselves.

Second, Democrats want to keep the long shot of impeaching Justice Kavanaugh over perjury during his confirmation hearings alive.

Finally, Democrats want to use whatever documents they receive about Kavanaugh’s time in the Bush administration to publically bully him to side with the left on cases that Kavanaugh may have even seen an email about during his time in the Bush White House.

Democrats kept Obamacare on the books and thwarted the Trump administration’s attempt to put a citizenship question on the census by threatening and berating Chief Justice John Roberts in the press.

The left will surely rerun that playbook on Kavanaugh using documents from his work in the Bush administration on cases involving abortion, gun rights, and the radical homosexual agenda.
