House Democrats released their latest COVID-19 stimulus package yesterday...

...and as we predicted, they are moving to seize their last chance to exploit the COVID-19 situation.

Their bill includes a version of the so-called Violence Against Women Act (or “VAWA”).

This is the perfect vehicle for Pelosi’s H.R. 1585, passed by the House last year. The new COVID-19 stimulus bill would ironically strip law-abiding men and women of their right to possess a firearm.

All based on decades-old complaints from ex-dating partners and no due process, whatsoever.

Make no mistake, this is “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation with a more appeasing name.

And this anti-gun “VAWA” provision is just the tip of the iceberg.

Democrats know this may be their last chance to pass gun control in response to the COVID-19 emergency.

And just this morning, Capitol Hill insiders report anti-gun Republicans are quietly making the rounds to peddle their own “Constructive Republican Alternative Proposal” (CRAP for short -- I kid you not), in response to Pelosi’s anti-gun antics.

This could result in a nightmare for gun owners, as Republicans are clearly in a dealing mood.

“Red Flag” Gun Confiscation and Universal Gun Registration are clearly back on the menu.

Both were scrapped in previous packages as NAGR’s 4.5 million-member army created a firestorm in response to the attempt to exploit COVID-19.

But all bets are now off. With Republicans AND Democrats working for their gun control packages, we could be facing a nasty backroom collusion between them.

You and I both know Nancy Pelosi will run this for all it’s worth.

Defeated by gun owners last year, she is hungry and ready to go for the jugular this time.

At the top of her personal laundry list of gun control proposals to pick from is H.R. 5717, or “Gunpocalypse” as it’s being called.

Arbitrary waiting period of 7 days to purchase a firearm, preventing those in imminent danger from being able to effectively defend themselves. A right delayed is a right denied.

*** Ban on the sale of firearms to young adults

New age restrictions, denying Second Amendment rights to military-aged young adults between the ages of 18 and 21.

*** A new so-called “Assault Weapons” and magazine ban

A retread of the same old ban on the sale, transfer, manufacture, importation, and ownership of common civilian owned semi-automatic firearms and standard capacity magazines.

That’s why we need to send a message on Capitol Hill.

We all know the gun grabber’s goal is to gain everything they can from any sort of crisis.

But the real danger is that several Republicans in the Senate are wavering and looking for a chance to cave.

And many other Republicans could fall and cave to the likes of Pelosi and her gun control goons.
