Chris Matthews asked her to comment on what is happening in the Middle East between Lebanon and Israel ! Amy was totally amazing as Chris gave her the microphone and SHE REALLY GOT TO HAVE HER SAY’! She was totally ‘ON FIRE’ and she TOLD IT LIKE IT IS!

She told everyone [paraphrased]

What is happening between THE HEZZBOLLAH AND ISRAEL is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Innocent civilians and lives are being lost on both sides! Over 750 Lebanese, 51 Israelis and now 37 children killed in the middle of the night by a thousand pound bomb! How many more lives will be lost if WE DO NOT DEMAND THAT OUR LEADERS STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!

She said—

ALL PARTIES IN THIS CONFLICT MUST COME TOGETHER AND WE THE PEOPLE MUST STAND UP AND DEMAND THAT OUR LEADERS CALL FOR A TOTAL CEASE FIRE!

She looked around at the crowd that was gathered and said---

When I look at these children here I know that these children in the crowd are just like the children WHO died in Qana Lebanon ! We must STOP THIS MADNESS NOW and bring everyone: the United Nations, THE UNITED STATES, ISRAEL, LEBANON as well as the HEZZBOLLAH to the negotiations table and WE MUST HELP EVERYONE WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE SURE THE MIDDLE EAST DOES NOT BECOME AN ALL OUT WAR BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!

She called on the LEADERS of the United States and the UN to DO THE RIGHT THING---

HELP BROKER A CEASE FIRE---ANYTHING ELSE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

Chris Matthews then turned and asked the crowd…What do you think? Should there be a CEASEFIRE?

The crowd unanimously roared back---’YES!

Chris asked if there were any NAYS and hardly anyone answered back!

[This was one of those live moments that the networks weren’t too happy about because Chris looked like he just swallowed a toad!]

Everyone agreed:

IT IS TIME TO CALL FOR A TOTAL CEASEFIRE!

Then this talk show host piped up that all that he sees that the people in the US are worried about ‘these days’ is the big news about MEL GIBSON and his oops! anti-Semitic racial slurs while under the influence!

Amy shot right back that the American People are much more sophisticated and savvy than that and even though the media pushes these stories the PEOPLE REALLY ARE VERY COMPASSIONATE AND DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MEDIA DRIVEL!

THE PEOPLE OF THE USA DO NOT WANT ANOTHER WORLD WAR!

She said its time for the media to stop pushing these stories and STICK TO THE IMPORTANT NEWS! This guy just kept on—bringing it back to MEL! It was obvious that he was ‘being paid quite well by his Corporate Overlords’ to pull everyone’s attention away from THE BIG NEWS OF THE DAY!

In the end Amy said

---GET OVER IT!

WE ARE ALL GOING HAVE TO FACE THIS!

NO MATTER HOW MANY DEATHS HAPPEN ON BOTH SIDES, WE ARE STILL IN THE END GOING TO HAVE TO SIT DOWN AT THE PEACE TABLE WITH EACH OTHER AND NEGOTIATE A PEACE AND LISTEN TO THE NEEDS OF EVERYONE INVOLVED!

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!

WAR NEVER MAKES FRIENDS!

YOU HOLD YOUR ENEMIES CLOSER THAN YOUR FRIENDS!

IN THE END WAR ONLY MAKES ENEMIES AND MANY MORE TERRORISTS!
