Pakistan: US drone killed my friend, now 'I simply hate America'
These drone strikes are not making Americans more safe, or more free; they are killing innocent people with absolutely zero due process, except for the President having made the executive decision that "they need killing".
The absence of due process is absolutely, completely horrific here, and completely against American jurisprudence, morality, and legal standards.
But IF the president believes he has the alleged "legal and moral authority" to kill anyone he doesn't like overseas, what will stop him from killing Americans via extrajudicial assassinations right here at home?
The short answer is, not much.
There has been an unconfirmed rumor that Attorney General Holder has signed off on a drone strike against the Bundy ranch at some point this week. IF in fact this report is true, it may well ignite this country into a situation where neither political party can survive public outrage against it.
And please remember what Holder commented in March of last year:
Drone strikes against Americans on U.S. soil may be permissible in an "extraordinary circumstance," Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday in a letter to Sen. Rand Paul. But, Holder wrote, "the U.S. government has not carried out drone strikes in the United States and has no intention of doing so." Democrats and Republicans alike have expressed concern about drone strikes against American citizens. Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, wrote to CIA director nominee John Brennan on Feb. 20 asking whether "the president has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and without trial." In response to Paul's question, Holder said: "It is possible, I suppose, to imagine an extraordinary circumstance in which it would be necessary and appropriate under the Constitution and applicable laws of the United States for the President to authorize the military to use lethal force within the territory of the United States."
America is ran by psychopaths who have not the qualifications nor inherent talent for discharging the duties of their respective post. It is one thing to be a psychopath, and have some talent for the thing you are holding yourself out as, but to be a psychopath with no talent whatsoever for your occupied position, means that American really is being ran my rudderless morons.
