These Explosive Rape Allegations Just Cut A Rising Democrat’s Career Short

After spending all fall last year lambasting Brett Kavanaugh for unsubstantiated allegations of sexual assault, Democrats just got a taste of their own medicine this week.
And it happened to one of their top rising stars.
This one Democrat’s career just got cut short by an explosive set of rape allegations.
Democrats howled when Brett Kavanaugh got appointed to the Supreme Court.
In trying to take him down with allegations of sexual assault, the Democrats sounded the alarm that the American people should “believe all women.”
But now Democrats are getting a taste of their own medicine.
Lt. Governor of Virginia Justin Fairfax is on the verge of seeing his entire career collapse after two allegations of sexual assault and rape have emerged.
The allegations are part of the much larger political chaos enveloping the Commonwealth of Virginia, which has seen all three Democrat office holders embroiled in potentially career-ending scandals.
In Fairfax’s case, the Lt. Governor may very well be out of a job within a matter of days.
One woman claims that Fairfax sexually assaulted her in 2004 at the Democratic National Convention, while another claims she was raped by Fairfax in 2000 when they both attended college.
Fairfax has denied these charges, but there’s already been a wave of political officials from Virginia and across the country calling on him to resign.
The Democratic Party of Virginia, the Democratic caucus in the state legislature, the Republican Speaker of the House, former Virginia Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe (who is also a rumored Presidential candidate), and several others have called for his resignation.
One Virginia House Democrat has even filed articles of impeachment.
The irony of the scandal is that Fairfax appeared to be days away from becoming the next Governor of Virginia last week, after Democrat Governor Ralph Northam’s 1980s yearbook page contained a photo of one man dressed in blackface and another wearing KKK robes.
Northam first admitted he was in the photo, then backtracked before admitting to dressing in blackface in another setting.
Fairfax was on the verge of becoming Virginia’s second African-American governor in history.
But then the rape allegations came just days after Northam’s own scandal.
Now the entire Democrat Party is in a state of chaos, and it’s unclear who—if anyone—will be left standing.
Democrats are calling on Fairfax’s resignation in order to save face for themselves before President Trump seeks a second term in 2020.
