Complexity of Obamacare mandate 'beyond comprehension' warns one of its key architects

(NaturalNews) A key architect behind the crafting of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, is getting nervous about the current status of its implementation. According to a recent report by the Washington Examiner, Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-Wv.) has expressed fresh concerns about the rate at which the government health care scheme is being executed, warning that the bill is "so complicated" and will "simply get worse" over time if its handlers do not get it right the first time.

Echoing similar sentiments recently expressed by another key Obamacare architect from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Sen. Rockefeller says the logistical groundwork for the health care scheme is not being laid quickly enough, implying that the system could fail as a result. Thus, he is urging the acting director of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMMS) to take a more active role in ensuring its actualization.

"I believe that the Affordable Care Act is probably the most complex piece of legislation ever passed by the United States Congress," admitted Sen. Rockefeller in a recent statement, as quoted by the Washington Examiner. "Tax reform obviously has been huge too, but up to this point it is just beyond comprehension."

Obamacare a 'train wreck' that could eventually bite the dust

The current head of the Obamacare insurance exchange program at CMMS, Henry Chao, seems to agree, having recently warned that the health care law could quickly devolve into a "third-world experience" if all the pieces to the puzzle are not placed at just the right time. But since practically nobody knows what Obamacare fully entails, including the many members of Congress who admitted to not even having read the 2,700-plus page legislation, it is difficult to see how its implementation will not be a complete debacle.

"I just see a huge train wreck coming down," said Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Director Kathleen Sebelius during a recent Obamacare hearing. "I'm very concerned that not enough is being done so far -- very concerned," he added, noting that he has not seen "any results yet," despite major provisions of the bill set to take effect in just a few short months.

Meanwhile, numerous lawsuits filed against Obamacare continue to move forward, including several alleging that certain aspects of its mandates violate religious liberty by forcing faith-based and other employers to cover abortion drugs and procedures, for instance. If any of these lawsuits succeeds, the entire law could be declared to have been passed in an unconstitutional manner, and thus get the axe.
