Washington Post Declares Obamacare A Disaster Since Day One
The Ulsterman Report
The Washington Post engages in some accidental drive-by journalism over the weekend, outlining the myriad of failures not only of the massive Obamacare legislation itself, but the lack of any substantive leadership from the Oval Office – namely one Barack H. Obama. It’s an interesting piece, and yet another glimpse into the chaotically disengaged and utterly self absorbed environment that surrounds the current President of the United States…

…“They were running the biggest start-up in the world, and they didn’t have anyone who had run a start-up, or even run a business,” said David Cutler, a Harvard professor and health adviser to Obama’s 2008 campaign . . . It’s very hard to think of a situation where the people best at getting legislation passed are best at implementing it. They are a different set of skills.
…(The exchange) was not ready (October 1) even though, for months beginning last spring, the president emphasized the exchange’s central importance during regular staff meetings to monitor progress. No matter which aspects of the sprawling law had been that day’s focus, the official said, Obama invariably ended the meeting the same way: “All of that is well and good, but if the Web site doesn’t work, nothing else matters.”
…A higher-level monthly meeting, intended to work through tough regulatory questions, was attended at first by Sebelius, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Domestic Policy Council Director Melody Barnes. By late summer and early fall of 2010, the meetings petered out after some of the participants stopped attending, according to a former senior administration official.
…Meanwhile, the White House also slowed down important regulations that had been drafted within CMS months earlier, appearing to wait until just after Obama’s reelection. LINK

So on one hand, Barack Obama and those propping up his administration, declared a fix for the non-existent healthcare crisis was the most pressing issue following his first election in 2008. After using taxpayer dollars to bribe his own Democrats to support the legislation, and then passing that legislation without a single Republican vote, the Obama White House begins to seemingly lose interest in the day to day implementation of that law – fearing its potential political repercussions. Therein you find one of the most fundamental truths within this administration of lies – it is political protection and promotion of Barack Obama at ALL TIMES. He has so little interest in the work of government, because he is entirely pre-occupied with his own self interest.
And now, as this idiotic, unnecessary, divisive, and terribly expensive law begins to fall under its own bloated weight of incompetence, once again Barack Obama is declaring himself innocent of all charges. He gives us excuse after excuse, while jumping to another distraction issue like immigration reform.
