America is in a tough time right now. Some have compared it to the WWII years. The last thing we need is our modern, over-stuffed, slow-moving government.
So, President Trump is cutting through red tape and government fat to help Americans. He is doing what he can to provide fast, reliable solutions to the COVID-19 crisis.
A life-saving treatment appears to be on the horizon.
And Trump just handed the FDA a new order to make it a reality.

“I have directed the FDA to eliminate rules and bureaucracy so work can proceed rapidly, quickly and fast,” the president said…
“We have to remove every barrier or a lot of barriers that were unnecessary and they’ve done that to get the rapid deployment of safe, effective treatments and we think we have some good answers.”
Trump directed the FDA to eliminate barriers to getting new treatments ready for COVID-19.
Recently, we reported on groundbreaking news that a well-known malaria drug just might be the cure for those who catch it.
But in order for it to be used for treating COVID-19, the FDA has to approve it. Ordinarily, a doctor can’t prescribe a drug, unless it’s approved for a specific illness.
Trump isn’t going to sit back and wait for the FDA to slow-walk approval for chloroquine or any other treatment.
He instituted “compassionate use,” a method that will allow doctors to use treatments not yet FDA approved for suffering patients. That will clear a lot of roadblocks in treating those really hit hard by the coronavirus.
He is also making sure the FDA fast-tracks the approval process for chloroquine and other potential treatments. That means we won’t have to wait long before real, provable treatments will reach patients.
Processes that would have taken months (or even years) will happen in a matter of weeks or days.
We could see remarkable results very soon. Thanks to Trump, treatment can reach hospitals when they need it.
