POTASSIUM IODINE LIQUID SUPPLEMENTATION
One way to combat Cesium 31 contamination in the thyroid gland is by taking potassium iodine tablets. Another way by soaking dried kelp leaves and creating a potassium iodine liquid. If allowed to soak in water, kelp (seaweed) will provide a sufficient quantity of potassium iodine to combat Cesium contamination in the thyroid gland. A couple of days after the Fukushima disaster occurred, I tried to find potassium iodine tablets; they were nowhere to be found in my area. Purchasing tablets on-line was too slow; I wouldn't see the product for weeks or longer. So I sought out the closest Asian food store and purchased several packages of dried Japanese kelp. (Note: I don't recommend purchasing dried kelp grown in Japan at this time as it is undoubtedly contaminated. Try Hawaiian or Chinese kelp, etc.) I crumble one or two leafs of the dried kelp in a stainless stain vessel and add filtered water. 24 hours of soaking will provide a mild, diluted solution of potassium iodine liquid. The longer it soaks, the more concentrated it becomes--until it has emptied out its valuable contents into the water. At that point, I consume the liquid potassium iodine, eat the kelp and start the process anew. I keep it covered in the refrigerator and take a couple tablespoons per day. Taken in moderate amounts and consistently, this will aid the body in defending against thyroid disease that comes from Cessium contamination. Also potassium iodine is water soluble, therefore, the body will discard any amount that it cannot use.
NOT JUST LIQUID POTASSIUM IODINE
The soup the is created from the soaking of kelp is not just potassium iodine; it is also liquid minerals. Kelp generally contains approximately 40 different minerals and trace minerals. So, you can create your own liquid mineral product by the same method as above. Compare that with the mineral capsule you may be taking which contains approximately 12 minerals and I think you can see the value in making and supplementing with your own liquid minerals from kelp.
