Vermont already has zero restrictions on abortion. No waiting periods, no parental involvement at any age, and no restrictions on tax dollars paying for it! But that is not enough.

Right now, the Vermont legislature has two bills that will allow abortion up to a few moments before the child’s birth. In addition, these laws will ban any regulations on staff or facilities providing abortions. These laws have been called the most radical and dangerous in our nation by pro-life leaders recently!

In Vermont, hundreds of people rose up and testified against these bills. Stand with them by signing Liberty Counsel Actions’ pledge to support life. Soon we will be reaching out to leaders in Vermont against these bills. Sign our pledge to have your name included in those fighting for life. It does not matter whether you live in Vermont. We need to have a national outcry.

The Vermont legislature removed the most controversial aspect of the bill, which stated that a preborn child has no rights. But, according to those present, legislators removed it only after confirming it would change nothing. A preborn child still has absolutely zero rights in Vermont.

The bill also lost two of its co-sponsors, but it still has more than 90 other sponsors in a legislature of 150 members with a pro-abortion Republican governor.

Join me in prayer for this and other states that are toying with the lives of innocent children! In addition, there are a dozen bills before the U.S. Congress and 20 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court that could restore protections for life... or destroy them. Liberty Counsel Action is doing everything we can to support life and oppose a culture of death.
