Planned Parenthood has announced a new campaign in all 50 states that will increase abortion access in order to “empower[s] women and their dreams.”

The abortion industry giant, which profits from abortions, says it will be going on “offense” as it continues to perform over 320,000 abortions per year.

In its latest annual report, Planned Parenthood shows it took in nearly $544 million in taxpayer funding, as it also boosted its profits by $21 million—or 27 percent—from the prior year.

Despite calling itself a “women’s healthcare” group, many of the organization’s non-abortion services are in decline.

“This is really about advocating for women’s health and rights through the legislative system and educating the public and lawmakers about what is at stake,” said Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, reports the Washington Examiner. “We need to not just protect access but expand access to reproductive care that empowers women and their dreams.”

According to the news report, two of the efforts the organization has already spearheaded include supporting a bill in California that would require the public university system to supply the abortion pill to students requesting it, and working to repeal a Missouri law that requires a 72-hour waiting period prior to abortion.

Planned Parenthood is also supporting a bill in Maine that would allow nurses to conduct medication abortions.

Additionally, the group is celebrating newly installed New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy – a Democrat – who supports returning to the organization the taxpayer funding Gov. Chris Christie – a pro-life Republican – vetoed each year.

Despite Planned Parenthood’s stated fears it would lose its federal taxpayer funding under a Trump administration, congressional Republicans failed once again to defund the abortion vendor in the recent joint funding and budget bill passed through the Senate and the House.

The organization has been under much scrutiny during the past two years since a series of video recordings were released that led to allegations Planned Parenthood profits from harvesting the body parts of babies aborted in its clinics. The U.S. Department of Justice has launched a formal investigation into these allegations.

Planned Parenthood has shown the extremes to which it will go to support abortionists. The organization recently condemned the U.S. House’s approval of a bill that would require abortionists to immediately provide emergency medical care to an infant born alive during an abortion.
