Hiker Details How He Survived Being Horrifically Attacked By Grizzly Bear Twice
Published on Oct 3, 2016
A Montana man was left severely battered and bloodied after surviving not one, but two attacks by a grizzly bear apparently protecting her cubs from a perceived danger. Todd Orr, 50, was on an early morning hike near Ennis when he encountered the protective momma bear, which went after the adventurer's head. Orr survived the ordeal, covering his extremities and using bear spray to ward off the animal. But while on the way back to his truck, he was attacked by the same bear a few minutes later.
