Belgian Court Rules AGAINST Compulsory Vaccination

Smaller Font Larger Font RSS 2.0

Furthermore, parents in Belgium received jail sentences and fines in the past for not getting their children vaccinated with the mandatory polio vaccine. In February 2008, the British Medical Journal published the article “Belgian parents are sentenced to prison for not vaccinating children” [BMJ 2008; 336: 348]. According to the BMJ article, two sets of parents [four people] were fined $8,000 (U.S.) for each individual and sentenced to five months in prison early in February 2008. The judge convicted the parents on the basis of police reports. Even though there was a jail sentence handed down, colleagues in Belgium say they don’t believe parents actually spent time behind bars.

The recent Belgian polio vaccine case regarding a four-year-old male child, Oliver Comblet, seems to be the impetus for the court’s rescinding the mandatory polio vaccine law. Oliver’s mother, Madame Comblet, asked :

“J’ai voulu obtenir des garanties avant de procéder à la vaccination et je voulais que mon petit garçon ne souffre pas d’effets secondaires liés à cette vaccination. Et c’est la raison pour laquelle j’avais posé toute une série de questions auxquelles même à ce jour, je n’ai malheureusement toujours pas pu obtenir de réponse;”

The parents’ lawyer, Philippe Vanlangendonck, said they required the product information on what would be injected into their child. Basically, their attorney said, ‘They ask for clarifications and assurances especially for reassurance over fears about the composition of the vaccine because it contains products such as formaldehyde that are considered toxic and carcinogenic.’ [Emphasis added] Colleagues in Belgium say Oliver’s parents never received what they had asked for. However, there was acquittal in the trial. http://beyondvaccination.com/showthread.php?2156-Polio-vaccine-probably-soon-no-more-compulsory-in-Belgium [English translation]

Belgian Court’s Acquittal

Apparently, the Belgian court realized the child’s parents had every right to question formaldehyde being injected into their child. Personally, I applaud both the parents for standing their legal ground on protecting their child from physical medical abuse and the Belgian court for ruling as it did : Acquittal. When will that happen in the United States of America ?

According to the U.S. EPA, formaldehyde is a recognized carcinogen. It should not be an ingredient in any vaccine, nor should it be injected into any infant, toddler, teenager, adult, or senior citizen anywhere in the world. That is a similar version of mad science Adolph Hitler played around with in the 1930s and ‘40s, which the United States condemned, as did other countries of the world—even to fighting a war about it—and here we are in 2011 doing the same thing : Injecting carcinogens and other toxins like mercury, aluminum, polysorbate 80, industrial chemicals, foreign DNA, human diploid cells [aborted fetus cells] into humans under the guise of ‘immunizing’ them . Talk about mad science.

The Belgian court acquittal impacted the Royal Decree of 1966 that mandated vaccination against polio between the first 3 and 17 months of a child’s life. That law, in effect, was canceled. The Patient Rights Law of August 22, 2002 prevails as a result. Vaccination now is elective NOT mandatory. That’s the way it should be in a free society, especially when neurotoxins, carcinogens, poisons, foreign DNA, and industrial chemicals make up the vaccine—not salt water, as some physicians would have you believe. However, the Belgian government has decided to appeal the Tournai court ruling.

Furthermore, physicians in Belgium have legal and professional obligations to tell parents that there may be a problem with vaccination. Hallelujah ! Hear that U.S. HHS, CDC, and FDA.

The Belgian case [Comblet] illustrates just how powerful parents’ rights are and parents should not cave in to draconian pseudo-scientific pressuring by physicians who are tutored by Big Pharma. Parents have moral and legal rights to protect their children from physical harm and abuse, which jabbing neurotoxins and poisons into them definitey IS.

Patients’ Rights

My highest compliments go to the Belgian court for its decision in favor of human rights.

April 18, 2011 was the European Day of Patients’ Rights. Ironically, Belgium and France will celebrate the European Week of Vaccination from April 26 to May 2, 2011, which seems like either an anachronism or a paradox considering vaccinations are mandatory in both countries.

Needless to say, there are Belgian health consumer issues regarding patients’ rights that are enumerated at http://www.initiativecitoyenne.be/ext/http://www.destinationsante.com/Quels-droits-pour-les-patients.html , which is in French.

Basically, there are Fourteen Patient Rights that Belgians want secured :

Right 1 : The Right of/to preventive measures

Right 2 : The Right of/to access

Right 3 : The Right of/to information

Right 4 : The Right of/to informed consent

Right 5 : The Right of/to free choice

Right 6 : The Right of/to privacy and confidentiality

Right 7 : The Right of/to immediate care for treatment

Right 8 : The Right of/to standards of quality

Right 9 : The Right of/to security

Right 10 : The Right of/to innovative procedures

Right 11 : The Right of/to avoidance of suffering and pain

Right 12 : The Right of/to treatment of one’s personal choice

Right 13 : The Right of/to voice and file complaints

Right 14 : The Right of/to compensation

What an inspiration the people of Belgium should be for healthcare consumers in the United States. Personally, I think we should get our act together and work for the USA Day of Patient Rights AND fifty states individual State’s Day of Patient Rights.
