Since the the beginning of June there have been two (2) new cases of measles in New York City according to the NYC Department of Health and Mental hygiene https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/health/health-topics/measles.page then click on Cases by Date link. Reported cases in NYC peaked in April with 172 cases, followed by 73 in May and 2 so far in June https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/health/health-topics/measles
Please click on the Take Action link to send this information to your State Senator and Assemblymember and Gov. Cuomo. There are only nine days left in the legislative session. And we want the legislators to attend to real solutions for real problems rather than using a tiny outbreak of a infection regarded a generation ago as a minor childhood inconvenience as a pretext to take away a fundamental human right.
