As America careens towards another possible lockdown some states have already begun buying into the Covid hysteria. Despite the fact a majority of Americans have been vaccinated against the virus Democrat-led states have already begun implementing new Covid mandates. While Democrats claim showing an ID to vote is racist they’re practically jumping for joy to force Americans to show a vaccine ID to enter their favorite restaurant and now, multiple states are forcing their government workers to either get the jab or hit the bricks.
Colorado
State workers must either receive the vaccine by September 20th or receive twice-weekly testing to keep their jobs. Those who aren’t vaccinated must also continue to wear masks indoors.
Connecticut
Connecticut state workers must receive their first dose of the vaccine by September 7th. Recently, the governor urged citizens to get the vaccine to be able to attend indoor and outdoor events.

Hawaii Governor David Ige signed an order on August 5th declaring all state workers have to be vaccinated by August 16th. Those who don’t get the job must undergo weekly testing or face termination. Hawaii has also implemented a mask mandate for citizens. Hawaii is also requiring teachers and school staff to be vaccinated.
Illinois
In Illinois, workers in high-risk settings such as nursing homes and long-term care facilities must be vaccinated by early October.
Kentucky
In Kentucky, all state employees are required to be fully vaccinated by October 1st. Workers with a religious belief or medical condition will be exempt from the vaccine requirement but must undergo twice-weekly testing.
Maryland
In early August, Republican Governor Lary Hogan announced that state employees will be required to show proof they have at least received their first vaccine by September 1. Hogan’s health order applies to employees of 48 state facilities, including the Department of Health, Department of Juvenile Services, Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, and Department of Veterans Affairs. The governor also notes that those who cannot receive the vaccine will be forced to go weekly testing.
Currently, the city of Baltimore has re-implemented its indoor mask mandate out of concern for the delta variant.
Massachusetts
Massachusetts was the first state to require nursing home staff to be vaccinated against Covid-19. The governor first ordered staff at over 300 non-state-run facilities to receive their first dose of the vaccine by September. According to the public health order, facilities with less than 75% of vaccinated staff will not be allowed to admit new patients.
Nevada
In July, Nevada’s Democrat Governor Steve Sisolak announced that state workers will be required to be vaccinated by August 15th or subject themselves to weekly Covid testing until their workplace is over 70% vaccinated.
New Jersey
The Garden State is requiring state workers and those in healthcare facilities to be fully vaccinated by September 7th. However, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy also hinted at additional Covid mandates on the horizon saying the state is “prepared to consider additional measures if we do not see a satisfactory increase in vaccination uptake in those settings as this new requirement is put into effect.”
So far some major colleges in the state such as Princeton and Penn State have mandated indoor mask requirements.
New Mexico
In late July, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced that all state employees must be vaccinated by Aug. 2 or provide biweekly negative Covid tests. Unvaccinated state employees must wear face masks while indoors.
