After honorable service, "she has forsaken me"

For 15 years, Robert* honorably served in the Navy. Before he turned 26, he had visited 26 countries. After serving his country, Robert used his expertise as a civilian working for a top 20 Department of Defense contractor creating and building what the military needs to be successful. But he shared his heartbreaking story with us in his plea for legal help:
“After 15 years of honorable service to my government, she has forsaken me. … After spending my entire adult life supporting the government, I’ve been forced to decide my career, my passion, my love for the military, or inject something I do not want into my body. I am being coerced. Provide guidance on how to handle this legally. I know what they are doing is illegal. I just need support.
Chaplains fear this abuse and pressure will result in suicides. This is sickening. My heart breaks for these heroes.

An Army chaplain with an exemplary record is currently deployed. He has a “severe history of allergic reactions dating back to childhood as well as a documented severe reaction to smallpox and flu vax.” Before leaving the states, he received a medical exemption to the COVID shot, but now the Army is rescinding his exemption.
He requested a simple medical test to a component of the COVID injection prior to the shot. But the Army refused to provide it to him and instead decreed over the phone without any testing that he “wasn’t allergic.”
This family has dealt with around 30 months of “deployments, countless moves, challenges, suffering in service to our country only to be put in this position. The stress and worry are compounded by his being deployed away from us. … The stress on my husband has been intense as he is being bullied, shamed and dismissed. This is harming his mental health.”
His wife asked, “First, please pray for us!” She and her husband served about 25 years total in the military. “I left the service to be a mom—now we have 6 young children. If my husband is dishonorably discharged, we face potential homelessness and poverty. We put all our eggs in this one basket and suddenly face ruin, just as we were headed into what we thought would be retirement.”
Everywhere they turned, "it seems all military legal avenues are hamstrung.”
Just like this family, countless other service members have nowhere to turn. Massive numbers are reaching out to us and pleading for help with heartbreaking stories. The Navy sent out a memo stating, “The Executive Order mandating vaccinations for all federal employees has provided clear direction. We are moving quickly toward a workforce where vaccinations are a condition of employment. Frankly, if you are not vaccinated, you will not work for the U.S. Navy.”
