UN says parents who SPANK their children should be thrown in jail, but not parents who ABORT them

(NaturalNews) Based on how prominently Wikipedia shows up as a top hit for nearly any topic searched through Google, one would think that it offers up the gospel truth about all things factual and relevant in the world. The truth is, however, that Wikipedia is a massive criminal operation run by biased and unethical editors who manipulate entries and blackmail users to stifle the free flow of information and reinforce the status quo.

An investigation by The Independent (U.K.) found that a number of individuals and businesses primarily throughout Great Britain have been targeted in recent months by rogue Wikipedia editors who have been tricking them into shelling out cash for editing services and posting privileges. In many cases, these editors never even provided the services promised, taking the money and disappearing instead.

Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales, who has been accused of engaging in his own form of blackmail against Wikipedia employees who try to maintain a "neutral point of view" on the site, has officially condemned this now-exposed blackmail ring. He told the media that hundreds of editor accounts, many of which were determined to be "sock puppet" accounts, have since been terminated as a result of the investigation.

Wikipedia is still in hot water for its own active censorship of information pertaining to the scientific legitimacy of alternative medicine, for example. A former pornography peddler, Jimmy Wales has repeatedly been caught harassing and intimidating Wikipedia editors who speak favorably about topics with which he disagrees.

More on this can be found here, here and here.

"Under the direction of Jimmy Wales, Wikipedia has meticulously eliminated editors and contributors who have a truly 'neutral' point of view while protecting and even promoting the editing privileges of corporate-funded defamation operatives who use Wikipedia to conduct character assassination campaigns of targeted individuals," wrote Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, in an expose published earlier this year.

"Those who are targeted by Wikipedia include political conservatives, health activists as well as healing arts practitioners, authors and naturopaths."

Most health information on Wikipedia is tainted by lies and misinformation, study finds

The types of lies published on Wikipedia as "fact" by Wales and his network of editorial minions include the blanket categorization of homeopathy as "pseudoscience" and the blatant denigration of techniques like osteopathic medicine, which Wikipedia claims has "little evidence" to back its effectiveness. In other words, anything natural that doesn't involve pumping patients full of pharmaceuticals and vaccines is considered "unproven" or "quackery" by Wikipedia.

A study published in The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA) found that as much as 90 percent of what is published on Wikipedia as fact concerning health is riddled with errors, and in many cases, it's blatant propaganda and lies. Nine out of ten articles evaluated did not reflect the latest medical science, despite what Wikipedia claims about covering all of the latest science "appropriately."

"The present study demonstrated that most Wikipedia articles on the 10 most costly conditions in the United States contained assertions that are inconsistent with peer-reviewed sources," the authors of this study wrote. "Because our standard was the peer-reviewed published literature, it can be argued that these assertions on Wikipedia represent factual errors."

Despite claims to the contrary, Wikipedia is anything but neutral. The site is dedicated to preserving what its owners and backers believe to be the "truth," regardless of the actual facts, with scandal after scandal proving that Wikipedia operates more like a misinformation mafia than an open-source information collective.

"As gatekeepers for the status quo, [Wikipedia editors] refuse discourse with leading edge research scientists and clinicians or, for that matter, anyone with a different point of view," reads a Change.org petition calling on Jimmy Wales to establish new policies for Wikipedia that reflect fairness rather than bias.
