I am surprised how quickly our "freedom" is beginning to look much more like medieval serfdom. Keep reading to see the comparison, but first, send a fax to our politicians to remind them they are public servants and we will not bow down as they try to become our master. – Mat

In the Middle Ages, serfs worked when the lords said to work, and they stopped when they were told to stop. They could not leave their home or assigned lands unless they had permission.

While serfs had ties to certain property, their rights were limited. Their lord could tell them how to manage their land or business, what they could plant or build, and how many people they could serve. Much of the reward for the serf's labor ended up in the pockets of their lord.

If they could worship, when and where was dictated by their master who had already bought and paid for the local clergy.

A serf's whole life was dictated from the whims of their lord. They did not even have the final say over their own body.

Serfs looked to their lord for safety, and for protection.

Sound familiar?

It was serfdom that gave birth to the Magna Carta, which declared that even the king was under the law! The Magna Carta became a significant document in world history.

Right now, America is at a crossroads: will we bow as serfs looking to barter and beg for protection from a willing lord ... or will we stand proud and regain our rightful position as "We the People" who are not just citizens but the sovereign rulers of this great nation? The choice is ours and rests on the action and the courage of freedom-loving patriots.

Will you stand up and send the message to our legislators and governors that we no longer accept the crumbs of freedom that they forgot to sweep away?

Radicals on Capitol Hill and in governors’ mansions are desperately trying to keep the power they've grabbed. Sec. Hillary Clinton tweeted publicly that people actively protesting the lockdowns in Michigan were engaging in "domestic terrorism" and they "cannot be tolerated."

This is wrong. Our nation is turned so upside down that standing up for our constitutional rights and freedoms is now being called an act of terrorism!

This battle for control across our great nation is growing more intense every day. These politicians are amassing vast amounts of additional power. They are using your tax dollars to do it. Meanwhile, honest Americans are being pushed into bankruptcy by these same public-servants-turned-masters.

We have seen Florida and Georgia opening back up with case numbers continuing to drop off. The surge of deaths that was promised by a frothing media wringing their hands simply didn't happen.

In fact, many other states have seen a dramatic drop. Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, Wyoming, and Vermont have all seen an impressive plunge in new case numbers. As far as a month ago their new case numbers were down 92-96%. However, politicians in many of these states are still pushing the lockdown.

When will our political lords decide it is "safe enough" to give up the control they have fought so hard to get? Never. We must pry our freedoms out of their hands.

I urge you to stand with Liberty Counsel Action. Tell our politicians, we will not become serfs void of rights bowing obsequiously before masters who order us about on whims and dictates.

I urge you to put away fear. It does not come from our Father. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." God freely offers us wisdom and he will be with us in the midst of the trials that we face.
