A Gold Star Mother whose Marine son was one of 13 who died amid the botched Afghanistan pullout says she’s inviting President Donald Trump to her son’s funeral rather than Joe Biden.
After Trump responded that her son would not have died if he were President, the mother of fallen Marine Kareem Nikoui, Shana Chappell, asked Trump if he would join her to lay him to rest.
“I would love if some how [sic] my President ( you Mr. Trump) could be present as i lay my Beautiful baby boy Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui to rest,” Chappell wrote on Facebook.
“It would be such an honor to meet the real President of the United States of America, President Trump. I love you and America loves you.”
On Monday, Trump issued yet another response to Chappell via his Save America PAC, saying, “Thank you Shana…our Country loves you and especially loves your beautiful boy, Kareem.”
Trump did not say whether he would attend the funeral, set for Sept. 18.
Last week, Chappell was censored on social media following a post lambasting Biden.
Her suspension followed a Facebook post in which she detailed being disrespected by Joe Biden during a meeting with him.
“This msg is for you!” Chappell said, addressing her post directly to Biden.

“I know my face is etched into your brain! I was able to look you straight in the eyes yesterday and have words with you. After I lay my son to rest you will be seeing me again! Remember I am the one who stood 5 inches from your face and was letting you know I would never get to hug my son again, hear his laugh and then you tried to interrupt me and
give me your own sob story and I had to tell you ‘that this isn’t about you so don’t make it about you!!!’” she wrote.
Trump has been deeply critical of his predecessor’s handling of the Afghanistan situation, on Tuesday telling Newsmax it was “the most incompetently handled withdrawal or anything else in the history of our country.”
“Can you imagine getting the military out, before you get your citizens, American people out? They took the military out first. We would have taken it out last.”
Meanwhile, parents of other soldiers who died amid the bungled Afghan withdrawal have described being disrespected by Biden, who checked his watch multiple times as their children’s bodies were being unloaded.
