Tell Congress You Want GMO Fish Labeled!
Feb. 8, 2015
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has not yet approved AquAdvantage, a variety of salmon genetically engineered to reach market weight in just 18 months, instead of the usual three years.
But Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) isn't taking any chances. In order to protect Alaska's wild salmon indsutry, and the state's environment, Young has introduced HR 393, a federal bill that would require labels on genetically engeneered fish sold in U.S. grocery stores and restaurants.
After you sign the form, please also call your representative and ask him or her to support HR 393. You can find them here.
Thank you!
