ILLJINOIS GOVERNOR ISSUES TROUBLING CHURCH ORDER -- HIS RULES SAY THEY MIGHT NOT FULLY REOPEN FOR UP TO A YEAR

We have seen liberal states take their lockdown rules to extremes. Many say they’ve gone too far. But this might be the farthest yet.
Some states have extended lockdowns well into June. Liberal governors have banned large gatherings until after the 4th of July. (I wonder if this has to do with preventing Trump’s historically large rallies?)
But Illinois Gov. Pritzker’s new order goes even further. Especially for churches.

It could be more than a year before churches are allowed to resume their in-person gatherings, according to Democratic Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker…
Pritzker confirmed that churches will be held to the same standards and will not be allowed to hold in-person services of more than 50 people until phase five, even if it takes more than a year to get to that position.
Unlike the federal government’s phase 3 plan to reopen America, Pritzker has a 5-phase plan.
This plan, seemingly much longer than others, won’t allow large gatherings of 50 or more until the final phase.
He said this might take as long as a year. Really?
That means this governor could be unreasonably Americans their First Amendment rights to worship and their right to peaceable assembly.
Let’s get one thing clear: these lockdowns were meant to prevent hospital overload. They were not meant to prevent this disease 100%.
President Trump spoke early on that the solution could not be worse than the problem. He was quick to talk about reopening the country.
Outside of New York City, we did not see hospitals overwhelmed. On top of that, evidence suggests the disease will be less problematic in the heat of summer.
Keeping states closed until July—or longer—appears petty and cruel. Does Pritzker want to keep churches closed? Does he really despite one of our most sacred rights as Americans?
Some data even suggests lockdowns make this problem worse because Americans can’t develop needed immunity.
More and more Americans are questioning the lockdowns—even demanding a quick reopening.
So why is this governor pushing for longer lockdowns?
We let Democrats extend their powers to great extremes. It seems now they are totally unwilling to give it up. Even if it harms their own people.
Perhaps we won’t get “back to normal,” until President Trump signs an order ending all lockdowns?
