A Sacred Act
"Remind yourself each day that you can glorify God by means of a word, a look, a gesture - by everything you do - and that in this way you enter into contact with the Source of life. What is essential is the degree of consciousness you bring to this exercise. Even if it is only for a few seconds, do it with the sense that you are accomplishing a sacred act. It is the intensity that matters, not the duration. Have you ever felt suddenly and inexplicably happy because a thought or a feeling passed through you and changed everything in you? It lasted no longer than a flash of lightening, but it illuminated the rest of your day. How much more powerful is the thought that one day you will succeed in glorifying God on earth as the angels glorify him in Heaven!"
