US Invested Billions Into Companies With Ties to Chinese Military

11-23-20 News Analysis President Donald Trump’s latest executive order bars U.S. investors from holding ownership stakes in a list of 31 Chinese companies designated to have ties with various Chinese Communist Party (CCP) military apparatuses. This order, while somewhat limited in scope, ensnares several well-known Chinese companies including non-public companies such as Huawei and publicly traded companies such as China Mobile and Hangzhou Hikvision. The 31 companies were previously designated by the Pentagon as being “owned or controlled” by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), the official name of the Chinese military.

Man builds stairs for 0.0084615 the cost of the LOWEST bid out of his OWN POCKET, city says no! by Jim Stone

Man builds stairs for 0.0084615 the cost of the LOWEST bid out of his OWN POCKET, city says no! A park in Toronto needed 8 steps built down an embankment. The lowest bid the city accepted was $65, 000 CAD, with the highest being $150, 000 CAD. Someone in the neighborhood got upset by the rip off, and built what looks like perfectly good stairs for $550. The city wants them torn out, because someone did not get their kick back! In my opinion, the stairs could have been better for $550 because for that price they could have been concrete.

1/18/17 Mexico has been in the news lately in regards to protests and riots over an increase in the price of gasoline. As is always the case, the mainstream media, a.k.a. Fake News, doesn’t give a realistic perspective on what is happening.
